Open Evening
Welcome to Bassingbourn Village College
Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Bassingbourn Village College. The team and I are very proud of our school for both the educational, and diverse experiences we provide the students.
As a Village College, we enjoy the benefits of being in smaller numbers than many local secondary schools. This allows us to get to know our students as individuals, provide tailored support, as well as a curriculum that places them at the centre of their own learning – every member of our community is valued.

We ensure all our students have a voice and feel empowered to use this to impact positive change and create a caring and kind community.
The staff at Bassingbourn Village College are passionate about encouraging our students to develop a love of learning and to have high aspirations for themselves and their own future. Through a nurturing approach our students become responsible, respectful, and resilient members of society and go on to be successful individuals fulfilling their potential.
We truly believe that we have an exciting future ahead of us and hope you and your child will want to be a part of our journey.
