Year 10

By Year 10 our students are laying the crucial foundations for success

With GCSEs starting in Year 9 at Bassingbourn Village College, the foundations have already been laid for when they start in Year 10, allowing for a successful Year 11.

Our three year programme for GCSE, or Vocational courses, allows for embedding of skills, revisiting and revision of topics to take place as integrated parts of the curriculum. This improves learning by embedding long-term memory, which gives opportunities for subject areas to enrich the experience of the students through visiting speakers, trips and developing links to future careers.
