By Year 10 our students are laying the crucial foundations for success

With GCSEs starting in Year 9 at Bassingbourn Village College, by Year 10 our stduents are laying crucial foundations for a sucessful Year 11.

Our three year programme from GCSE or vocational courses, allows for embedding of skills, revisiting and revision of topics to take place as integrated parts of the curriculum, improving learning by embedding long-term memory which gives opportunities for subject areas to enrich the experience of the students through visiting speakers, trips and developing links to future careers.
