We are very proud of the successful partnership we have between staff, students, and parents, which has resulted in an excellent range of exam results for summer 2026, including two of our students achieving nine grade 9’s. Nationally, only 0.08% achieved this result.

The information below shows our results.

  • 68% of all BVC grades were 9-4 (National average 67%).
  • 21% of all BVC grades were 9-7 (National average 21%).
  • 23% of our students achieved three or more 9-7 grades.
  • 5% of all BVC grades were grade 9. Increased from 2% 2025.
  • English – 72%  achieved grade 9-4 (A*- C) (National Average 64%).
  • Maths – 65%  achieved grade 9-4 (A*- C) (National Average 57%).
  • The following subjects saw students achieve over 20% grade 9-7:  English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, French, Spanish, Drama, RE, Health & Fitness.
  • In addition, 26% of the Health and Fitness students achieved the highest grade that they could achieve (Distinction).

Due to national changes following the pandemic, Progress 8 scores are not available for this cohort.
