Year 8

The Curriculum in year 8 provides breadth and deapth

The curriculum in Year 8 continues with the same breadth and depth as in Year 7.  Subject Leaders have identified the essential knowledge and skills that are the key for success in their subjects, and use this to continue to form the framework of the curriculum, and enrichment activities.

In addition, whilst in Year 8, our students will start to focus on the option process and spend time in Personal Development lessons to learn about the different types of subjects and courses available to them. Our students will also follow a programme of events designed to give them as much information about their opportunities as possible.
